What was the highlight of Bom Sucesso Resort
Beautiful nature, close to stunning beach and kite lagoon
Wonderful nature, wellkept gardens, helpful reception staff, long swimming pool for swimming and a small gym with generous opening hours. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals and blending own smoothies. Very near located to the Obidos lagoon to go for a run or walk and kite surf lessons. As well, nearby Praia the Cortico with its stunning, long, sandy beach and Beach bar with excuisite cuisine and drinks.
In general, the premises feel quite worn since we’ve been there twice before in 2019 and 2022. Both the apartment as well as the public facilites we used: swimming pool, gym and terrace bar. By the communal swimming pool, there are only two sunbeds left and both were rather worn off. In our first visit there were at least 5-6 sunbeds. Pool water didn’t seem to be taken care of for many days. I cleaned the water at least 4-5 times of larger and smaller bugs and fallen leaves. It wasn’t until I found out there were frogs in the pool, that I reached out to the front desk to enquire pool service. The day after it seems someone from staff overlooked the pool for the first time during our stay. Cleaning services have gone down since out previous visits at Bom Sucesso. In former times we were always very happy and content with the cleaning, but this time we had to ask for cleaning service after few days and late afternoon upon our return from the beach in order to get new towels and dry floor towels for the bathrooms as the shower wets down entire floor. The safety box in our room was out of order and was not able to be fixed during our 9 nights stay. Also downstairs in the apartment (bedroom + main bathroom) smells very humid, and should probably need to get the floors/walls checked from excess humidity/mold. The gym facilites was well visited by many guests and residents. More space would be preferable for everyone to get space. Also another treadmill would be great as there was only one. Also cleaning spray and wipes would be great to have at the gym to keep the machines tidy and free from bacterias. Great with a terrace bar with beautiful view at the Golf Club, however the space is in need of a touch-up decoration-wise to make it more cosy and enjoyable. Eg lounge sofas with cushions, pots and plants etc.

Quiet good place with different activities, bright rooms and big tables. Some houses has useless spaces. Very good equip
There were big tables in all houses, a lot kitchenware and equipment, hot water as a big plus.
We rented different size houses and all of them scattered throughout the complex at a great distance, it’s inconvenient. The houses do not have much space, have rather strange layouts and are quite cold in winter.
